Seemab Gul en Dane Komljen geselecteerd voor de NFF+HBF Co-Production Scheme
	From the last round of collaboration between Hubert Bals Fund and the Netherlands Film Fund, two projects have been selected for a contribution: Haven of Hope (Keplerfilm) by the Pakistani Seemab Gul and Desire Lines (seriousFilm) by the Yugoslavian-born Dane Kolmjen. Both projects with a Dutch co-production partner each receive an amount of €75,000.

Speelfilm over toeslagenschandaal in de maak

Producer Keplerfilm and director Stijn Bouma are working on a film about the benefits scandal. The shooting of the film, which will be called Oostvaarders, should start in mid-2023, according to NRC. The film is about a woman who loses grip on her life due to debts that she accumulates as a victim. Her opponent is a detective who goes to great lengths to prove the alleged fraud of benefit parents.
