On July 11, the Federation of Film Academies Europe (FACE) was founded in Luxembourg by the European Film Academy and Film Academies from 20 countries. This new pan-European film organization, officially registered in Luxembourg, stems from the desire to formalize the collaboration that has existed since 2006 through the Film Academy Network Europe. FACE aims to promote European cinema and integrate diversity, inclusion and sustainability into their work. The federation, with approximately 20,000 members, will also promote film education and audience development in Europe.
