The short film Diamant by Kris Mergan and Geert Vandenbroele has won an award at Regiofun, the International Film Festival for Film Producers in Poland. The animated film was awarded the first prize in the short film competition. Diamant, together with 12 other short films, was part of the short film competition of the Regiofun film festival, which ran from October 7 to 12 this year. The jury, including Maggie Ellis (Film London) and producer Svein Andersen, decided to divide the first prize of the competition between Diamant and the Spanish short film Tin and Tina by Rubin Stein.
