The Belgian-Dutch thriller Welp by director Jonas Govaerts has been selected for the Toronto International Film Festival TIFF. Welp will have its world premiere there in the program part Midnight Madness. As far as we know, it is the only Dutch co-production selected for the festival. The festival takes place from September 4 to 14. The intention is that Welp, which is partly financed by the Dutch Film Fund, will be shown in Dutch cinemas at the end of October.
