As a new YouTube video from California shows, flying among fireworks with a drone can be quite enchanting. However, there is also criticism because anything can go wrong. Business magazine Forbes calls filming fireworks with drones illegal: 'This is unsafe, because the drone in the airspace above the fireworks leads to an increased risk of hazardous waste (from the fireworks or the drone). And that can fall down in areas where spectators are standing." Filming is also done in this way in the Netherlands. Last New Year's Eve, for example, the fireworks above Steenwijkerwold were recorded.
