On July 21, the shoot of Café Derby, the feature debut of director Lenny Van Wesemael, will start in Ghent. The leading role in this is reserved for Wim Opbrouck; Geert Van Rampelberg, Ben Segers and Günther Lesage are also part of the cast. In addition to Wim Opbrouck, the Dutch actress Monic Hendrickx plays, who became famous with her role in the Dutch series Penoza and also appeared in films such as The Letter for the King, The Storm and Sonny Boy. Other roles are played by 12-year-old newcomer Chloë Daxhelet, Robbe Langeraert (Quiz Me Quick), Ezra Fieremans (Kiss me softly, Early Birds) and Andres Doise (Schellebelle 1919).
