Aereo, the American company that streams television channels over the internet, will temporarily cease operations after being convicted of breaches of copyright law earlier this week. Aereo is a startup that allowed you to watch a multitude of TV channels live and delayed for $8 a month. But because the company did not have permission from the broadcasters involved to take their signal off the air and stream it over the Internet, it suffered a condemnation from the US Supreme Court last week.
