The Flemish/Dutch/French minority co-production Belgica will receive a total of 470,000 euros in European realization support. This was decided during the last meeting of the Eurimages co-production fund. This production previously received support from the Netherlands Film Fund. Belgica by director Felix van Groeningen (including De Alaheid der Dingen from 2009, The Broken Circle Breakdown from 2012), written by Felix van Groeningen and Arne Sierens, receives 470,000 euros in European support. The Dutch producer is Topkapi Films (Frans van Gestel, Laurette Schillings, Arnold Heslenfeld) in co-production with Menuet Film (Dirk Impens, Belgium) and Pyramide Productions (Francis Boespflug, France).
