The short film Sequenza has been selected for 'La java de la source', a side program of FIDMarseille in which the theme of sound is central. For the short film, filmmakers Manon de Boer and George Van Dam based themselves on the violin solo Sequenza VIII, a composition by Luciano Berio.

Sequenza, a production by Auguste Orts, has previously been shown during Art Basel and the Festival International d'art de Toulouse. The photography of the film was in the hands of Léo Lefèvre, the performing musician is George Van Dam, who, together with de Boer, was also responsible for the image editing.
