Waiting for August by Teodora Mihai has been selected for the documentary competition of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in the Czech Republic. Violet, Bas Devos' feature debut, also makes an appearance; the film is presented in the Another View programme, which is a showcase of films that demonstrate an unusual artistic approach. The Karlovy Vary International Film Festival is one of the absolute top festivals in Eastern Europe and runs from July 4 to 12 this year.
