The short animated film Mia by Wouter Bongaerts won the prize as best international film during the Little Big Shots International Film Festival for Kids in Melbourne, Australia. It was a jury of children who voted the film to first place. It is already the fifth international award for Mia. Mia's story was written by Wouter Bongaerts and Bert Vandecasteele and was realized in the Ghent studio Creative Conspiracy, where the director oversaw the animation process as production designer. Piet De Ridder (Deadline 14/10, Code 37), composed the soundtrack of Mia.
