Teodora Mihai's documentary feature Waiting for August won the Best International Feature Award last night at Hot Docs, Toronto's renowned international documentary festival (April 24 - May 4). The director accepted the award personally. On Friday evening, Waiting for August, together with the Flemish documentary 9999 by Ellen Vermeulen, also received a Special Mention at the Visions du Réel festival in Nyon, Switzerland. Finally, Before The Last Curtain Falls, co-produced with Flanders, also won prizes at Hot Docs.
