The Flemish film attracted almost 2 million visitors to the cinema last year. That is an increase of 17 percent compared to 2012. With three major Flemish public films, 2013 was an exceptional film year. In 2013, cinema attendance in Wallonia and Brussels fell by 10 and 7 percent respectively. In Flanders, the number of cinema visitors remained status quo. Thanks to the Flemish film, it can be deduced from the annual report of the Flemish Audiovisual Fund (VAF).
