Seven European theater schools together form the Jeroen Willems Academy. The theater academies in Oslo, Helsinki, Warsaw, Berlin, Liège, Brussels and Maastricht want to collaborate bilaterally in co-production form. Responsible for this European project is Leo Swinkels, dean of the Faculty of Arts at Zuyd University of Applied Sciences in Maastricht, who developed it with Arthur Sonnen at the Maastricht Theater Academy to intensively research and exchange methods of theater education.
