Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is threatening to have Facebook and YouTube blocked in his country. According to him, the internet services are being abused by his political opponents. Erdogan has recently come under fire following a corruption case involving regime loyalists and other high-ranking officials. A little later an audio message emerged that he asks his son to hide large sums of cash. He also interferes with public opinion by using his influence to fire critical journalists.
