The film Nymphomaniac has been banned in Turkey. The diptych by Lars Von Trier would be released in Turkish cinemas from March 14. The film inspection decided that the film should not be shown because it would be too pornographic. Romania previously banned the second part of the film, but after protests Nymphomaniac II was eventually shown in cinemas there. In the Netherlands, the Kijkwijzer judged that Nymphomaniac is suitable for viewers aged 16 and older because of the scenes with sex, violence and coarse language.
