Matthias Schoenaerts and Stef Aerts (Adem) play the leading roles in Belgica, the new feature film by The Broken Circle Breakdown director Felix van Groeningen. This was announced by the Ghent production house Menuet. For his fifth feature, van Groeningen once again calls on a number of loyal companions such as cameraman Ruben Impens, technician Nico Leunen and producer Dirk Impens. Belgica is a co-production of Menuet with Topkapi in the Netherlands and Pyramide Productions in France. The Match Factory will sell the film internationally. The project can count on support from the VAF/Film Fund of Flemish Minister of Culture Joke Schauvliege.
