Flemish director Bas Devos received the Grand Prix of the Generation 14plus International at the Berlin Film Festival on Friday evening. The prize carries a sum of 7,500 euros. In Violet, 15-year-old Jesse witnesses the murder of his friend Jonas. He is the only witness and must explain his feelings about death to his friends and family.
