Felix van Groeningen's The Broken Circle Breakdown is one of the five films nominated for the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) just unveiled the nominations for the 86th Academy Awards during a press conference in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles. Two years after Rundskop, The Broken Circle Breakdown is the seventh Belgian film to receive a nomination in this category. This year the Oscar statues will be awarded on Sunday, March 2.
