The Dutch film producer Habbekrats, known for the films Wolf and Rabat, will adapt the book Wij by the Flemish writer Elvis Peeters. This is the first time that a book by Peeters has been adapted into a film. When it was published in 2009, We was provided with a sticker with 'Warning: Explicit Novel'.
Nothing is known about the cast yet. The shooting of Bij Wij Eindig Ik will start this summer, so that the film can be released in Dutch and Flemish cinemas next year.
