The American TV and film producer Warner Bros is said to be interested in purchasing the TV production company Eyeworks from Reinout Oerlemens. Sources report this to RTL Z. Eyeworks refuses to comment on the takeover message. Eyeworks has been approached more often by interested parties in recent years. However, in April 2011, following a market survey by Goldman Sachs, the company indicated that it wanted to remain independent. Warner Bros is part of the American media group Time Warner. That company also owns TV channels such as TNT, CNN and HBO.
