The 68 Free Record Shop stores in Belgium have to close temporarily. The British prospective acquirer Hilco Capital is turning on the money tap for the time being. Hilco Capital confirms that the bankrupt Free Record Shop Belgium will close all its stores in the coming week. "Despite extensive negotiations during the Christmas period, it has not yet proven possible to reach detailed agreements with landlords and suppliers, which are necessary to guarantee a stable company in the long term," says the prospective acquirer.
