Polish composer Wojciech Kilar has died at the age of 81. He wrote the music for many different films. The best known of these is The Pianist by Roman Polanski. He also composed the music for Bram Stoker's Dracula by Francis Ford Coppola. For this he received the prize for best composer from the American Society of Composers in 1992.
