The documentary about the punk band Pussy Riot has been banned in Russia. The government prematurely stopped a screening of the film this weekend. The organizers of the screening reported this to The New York Times. The makers of the film received a letter on Saturday stating that the film could not be shown. The director and the other filmmakers were accused in the letter of being "provocateurs".
