Fien Troch's feature film Kid has won the André Cavens Prize for Best Belgian Film; distributor Cinéart reports this. The prize is awarded annually by the Union of Film Criticism (UFK). This is the second time that Troch has won the prize after being awarded for Unspoken in 2009. Fien Troch again wrote the screenplay for her third feature film after Another His Happiness and Unspoken. The photography was in the hands of Frank van den Eeden, Nico Leunen was responsible for the editing. Antonino Lombardo produced the film for Prime Time (Little Black Spiders, The Invader) and could count on the support of the VAF/Film Fund of Flemish Minister of Culture Joke Schauvliege.
