Allez, Eddy!, the feature debut of director Gert Embrechts, has won the Grand Prize in Russia at the children's and youth film festival Within The Family in Ekaterinburg. Almost two years after its release, the story about the young cycling talent Freddy continues to score with its target group. The eighth edition of the International Film Festival 'Within the Family' took place this year from 5 to 11 December. The main goal of the festival is to familiarize children and families with film and takes an accessible approach by opening all screenings to the public for free. The festival is led by Russian actress Irina Alferova. Come on, Eddy! was shown in Ekaterinburg in the children's competition section and now returns home with the Grand Prize in that category.
