The six laureates who will win a VAF Wildcard this year are Maaike Neuville and Deben Van Dam for fiction, Juliette Joffé and Hannes Verhoustraete for documentary, Nienke Deutz for animation and Miki Ambrózy for film lab. With a total value of €285,000, the VAF Wildcards have become the largest film prizes in our country and enable six talented filmmakers to realize their first professional film project. The official presentation of the VAF Wildcards will take place on Saturday, December 7, during the closing evening of the Leuven International Short Film Festival.
