Vincent Bals Nono, the zigzag child has won the Golden Elephant for Best Screenplay at the International Youth Film Festival of India. The awards were announced at a ceremonial awards ceremony in Hyderabad at the end of the seven-day festival. The International Youth Film Festival of India is organized biannually by the Children's Film Society India (CFSI), an autonomous organization founded in 1955 under the jurisdiction of the Government of India and Andhra Pradesh. The festival aims to introduce leading national and international cinema to the young Indian audience, reaching more than 100,000 children who travel from all over India to visit the festival.
