This year, nineteen films were submitted to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for a chance to win the coveted Oscar for Best Animated Feature. The nominees will be announced on January 16, 2014. The final Oscar winner will be revealed during a festive ceremony for the 86th Academy Awards, but that won't be until Sunday, March 2, 2014 (exceptionally late due to the Winter Olympics taking place in Russia in February 2014).
