Gert Embrechts' feature film debut Allez, Eddy! received the award for Best International Youth Film at the 37th Mostra Internacional de Cinema of Sao Paulo (18-31 October). Come on, Eddy! was part of the Youth Festival, part of the Sao Paulo International Film Festival, which aims to encourage young people to participate in cultural events in the city. By opening the special program to them free of charge, the festival wants to familiarize this audience with the cinema.
