Felix van Groeningen's The Broken Circle Breakdown has won The Princess Dialta Alliata di Montereale Award for Best Film at the 33rd edition of the Hawai'i International Film Festival. Furthermore, the film is among the three finalists for the European Parliament's LUX Prize 2013 and will compete for this year's European Film Awards and its People's Choice Award.
