Both Pinocchio by Enzo d'Alò and Ari Folman's The Congress have been nominated for the European Film Awards in the Best Animated Film category. The Brussels animation studio Walking The Dog is the Flemish co-producer of Pinocchio and contributed to the animation part of The Congress.
