Felix van Groeningen's The Broken Circle Breakdown did not miss its start in France. In just over a week, Alabama Monroe, as the film is called, has surpassed the 50,000 visitor mark. This was reported by French distributor Bodega Films/Help Distribution. He achieved an audience satisfaction score of 87%. The film also reached number one on the French website Allociné in its opening week with an average of 4.4 out of 5.
