The short film Houses With Small Windows by the Flemish-Kurdish director Bülent Öztürk won the Prize for the Best European Short Film at the Venice International Film Festival tonight. The award also automatically means the film is nominated for the European Film Awards, which are awarded annually by the European Film Academy (EFA).
