A special cinematographic project has been completed in Poland. Filmmakers have adapted old black-and-white footage of the 1944 Warsaw Uprising into a modern film. The special images were colored with the most modern techniques and provided with sound and sound effects. This resulted in the 90-minute film 'Warsaw Rising', which, according to the director of the Warsaw Uprising Museum, is on par with modern Hollywood war films.
