Woody Allen has few good words to say about the new film trend of adapting comics into films. "These so-called comic strip films are not about the comic strip, but are simply advertising films for new technology," says the filmmaker. “That has nothing to do with creative filmmaking,” 77-year-old Allen continues. "It's an industry in the simplest sense of the word. It's really just about making money, it involves many billions every year."
