The Italian Court of Cassation on Thursday confirmed the four-year prison sentence of ex-Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi for tax fraud. According to the indictment, Berlusconi has been decisive in all major decisions of his media empire Mediaset. This also applies to the purchase of American film rights, the price of which was presented as much higher than it actually was through a chain of subsidiary companies.
