The trailer of Hoe Duur Was De Suiker, the opening film of NFF 2013, can be seen online. The film, set in Suriname in the eighteenth century, is written and directed by Jean van de Velde. Paul Voorthuysen and Richard Claus produce the film. It is a Dutch/German/South African production by Cool Beans and PV Pictures (NL), Comet Film (D) and Spier Productions (ZA).
