The short animated film Betty's Blues by Rémi Vandenitte, a co-production with Flanders, was selected as one of the six nominees for the Cartoon d'Or, the pan-European prize for the best animated short film. Last year this prestigious prize went to Oh Willy... by Emma de Swaef and Marc James Roels. The final winner will be announced on September 19 in Toulouse during Cartoon Forum.
