The European Parliament wants European Commissioner Neelie Kroes to clearly define and regulate net neutrality in the upcoming telecom regulation. The draft proposal as leaked last week does not meet this requirement in any way, and further opens the door to exclusive agreements between major web parties and major telecom companies, to the detriment of the open internet, freedom of information, innovation and startups.
