The Belgian film and television producers, united in VFPB (De Vlaamse Film Producernten Bond) and UPFF (l'Union de Producteurs de Films Francophones) have presented a proposal for updating the Belgian tax shelter measure. The 2003 measure has created enormous momentum in the audiovisual sector over the past 10 years. This dynamic is now in danger of coming to a complete standstill due to derailments in the use of the system. The sector requests that the government update the measure to the current market situation.
