The Bollywood film Barfi has become the absolute winner at the Indian Film Awards, also known as the Indian Oscars. The romantic comedy won no fewer than 12 awards, including best film, best screenplay and best director. The film's stars, Ranbir Kapoor and Vidya Balan, were also voted as the best male and best female actors respectively. Anu Kapoor (for Vicky Donor) and Anushku Sharma (Jab Tak Hai Jaan) received the awards for best supporting actors.
