The Egyptian army has taken several news channels off the air after it deposed President Mohamed Morsi last night. Among the channels are pro-Morsi stations and others owned by Morsi's Muslim Brotherhood party. The management of channel Egypt25 has been arrested, Al Jazeera reports. Constitutional Court President Adli Mansour has been appointed interim president. Two other channels with a strict Islamic slant have also been taken off the air.
