Vodafone wants to acquire Kabel Deutschland for 7.7 billion euros. Vodafone offers shareholders of Germany's largest cable company 87 euros per share. That bid is supported by the German peer of companies such as UPC and Ziggo. With the acquisition, Vodafone wants to significantly strengthen its position on the German market.
