On Saturday evening, the prizes were handed out for the most recent edition of the animation film festival in Annecy, one of the largest in the world. This year the festival also has some homegrown winners. Winning films from Dutch soil are Lonely Bones (by Rosto) and also a bit of O Apóstolo, a Spanish stop-motion film in which the Dutch studio Pedri helped create the puppets. Award-winning films from Belgium are Norman (by Robbe Vervaeke) and Autour du lac (by Carl Roosens and Noémie Marsily).
