Crimi Clowns failed to earn a nomination at the prestigious Monte Carlo TV festival on Thursday. The Dutch-Belgian series starring Johnny de Mol and Frank Lammers was in the running for the Nymphe d'Or for best comedy series. The American show Modern Family won the award at the ceremony, which was also attended by Prince Albert of Monaco. Ten series from all over the world were nominated.
