Beast Animation, the Mechelen-based animation film studio, started this week with the shoot of Dimitri, a stop motion production for children in the age group of three to six years. The story is based on an idea by Agnès Lecreux, who designed a model for a children's book as a graduation project. When applying for an internship at the French production house Vivement Lundi! she also sent her final work. The company immediately responded enthusiastically to Dimitri and committed to developing an audiovisual project based on the final work. The end result will be visible on Ketnet, among others.
