The Flemish channel Acht is getting a little brother. Laughs will broadcast non-stop comedy. The channel will see the light of day on July 1: free at first, paying from mid-September. The new channel Lacht will broadcast comedy programs around the clock. A concept that has been known abroad for some time, but has not yet been given its own interpretation in Flanders. Exactly which programs will be shown has not yet been decided, according to program director Vincent Loozen.
