From now on, Flemish TV series that are eligible for support through the VAF/Media Fund can also receive financial support for a cross-media component that is conceived together with or in response to the TV series. This means: linking the possibilities of interactive media with the traditional narrative formats of documentary, animation and fiction series for television. By interactive media we mean the internet, social media, games and applications for smartphones and tablets. They offer the potential for interaction between the creator (author), the story (content) and the user (audience).
