Actor and poet Jérôme Reehuis has died at the age of 73. He had been ill for some time. The stocky Reehuis became known to the general public for his role as Napoleon in the film 'De Boezemvriend' with André van Duin. He started his career in Flanders in 1967. He then played in 'Masscheroen', a shocking play by Hugo Claus. Reehuis was also known for his striking voice. As a voice actor, he often provided the voice of the bloated villain in animated films, for example in the cartoon series 'De Bluffers'.
